Terms of Service.

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Lies Golf mobile application or website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lies Golf (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

The Service is currently in beta. Features may change, and we appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at liesgolfapp@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their permission, use a name or email address you do not have the right to use, or create multiple accounts for abusive purposes.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial golf tracking purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its related systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without our prior written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the golf data, scores, and other content you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit Your Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. We do not sell Your Content to third parties.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, graphics, logos, and text, is owned by Lies Golf and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you. The Lies Golf name and logo are trademarks of Lies Golf. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers including Supabase (database and authentication) and Apple TestFlight (beta distribution). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services linked from or integrated into the Service.

8. Beta Service Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during its beta period. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service's reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lies Golf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lies Golf and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by sending an email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
